Profile

I’m a lecturer in the field of linguistics, with a primary focus on morphology, semantics, and pragmatics. My research explores the processes of word formation and understanding of meaning in language. I have conducted extensive research on the processes of word formation, focusing on affixation, compounding, derivation, inflection, etc. One of my research is entitled “Kata Majemuk pada Jargon Sneakers Berbahasa Inggris dalam Komunitas Sneakerhead IST (Indonesia Sneakers Team) Bandung”. My work explores how morphological phenomena contribute to the dynamic nature of English Vocabulary, highlighting the role of word formation in both historical and contemporary language use. In addition to morphology, I am deeply interested in semantics, which deals with the literal meaning of words and sentences, and pragmatics, which concerns how people use language in context. In addition to my academic career, I have a strong passion for various activities, including traveling, watching movies, and listening to music, which serve as both entertainment and sources of inspiration in my daily life.
